Daily Talk Shows (2016 - Present)

Since Nov. 2018 I have worked full-time at WNYC. My time has been spent producing a daily politics podcast for The Brian Lehrer Show, which covers national, state and local NYC news; live segments for All Of It, a society and culture show with a focus on NYC. I have been on the air in several capacities, including as a pledge drive pitcher. Behind the scenes, I’m producing live segments from pitch to publish, scripting and cutting pre-taped shows to our tight broadcast clock, and developing systems (including fully automated Google Sheets databases) to help manage the production of two live daily talk shows.

Live National Call-Ins
with Death, Sex & Money (2023)

I got to participate in a collaboration between the Live Radio team and the Death, Sex and Money team, on a series of shows that aimed to take stock of mental healthcare stigma and access as the pandemic wanes, and to provide an open conversation about the challenges that people are looking for help with.

Local Pop-Up Midterm Special
with Brigid Bergin (2022)

In advance of the 2022 midterms, WNYC/Gothamist politics reporter Brigid Bergin along with members of the Live Radio team for a series of 10 local politics shows, which covered, among other things, the state’s new election maps, the priorities of different voter identity groups and interest groups, the campaign finance system, and how national events like SCOTUS’s Dobbs decision were playing into the campaigns.

Narrative Audio (2020)

While I have not yet held a professional role in narrative audio, I’m profoundly interested in the medium. Here is a 30-minute podcast episode I reported, produced, scripted and hosted about government secrecy, the drums of war and a community of amateur sleuths working together, using publicly available information to keep the militaries of the world honest.
